Cuatro examenes finales el ultimo dia.​

Estaremos cubriendo las reglas de la 1 a la 35. El libro está disponible en Amazon. Lea y estudie todas las reglas (1-35).

Se recomienda que todos los estudiantes comiencen a leer y estudiar el material mencionado un mes antes del comienzo de la Clase de OUPV y el repaso del “Upgrade to Master”​

OUPV PRESENCIAL

License Description

The OUPV license allows transporting up to six passengers (12 in the USVI) on an uninspected vessel in US wU.S.ers. OUPV is a domestic license endorsed for Inland or Near Coastal Waters. Near Coastal endorsements will allow you to operate up to 100 miles offshore. The boats you will manage are generally referred to as 6-pack boats.

Eligibility Requirements

•  USCG Application

•  Age: 18 years old

• Citizenship: Must be a U.S.U.S.izen or a permanent legal resident.

• Sea Experience:

       OUPV Inland 360 days* operating a small vessel. 90 days of the 360 must be within the last 3 years.

       OUPV Near Coastal 360 days* operating a small vessel 90 days of the 360 must be near coastal waters beyond the Boundary Line. 90 days of the 360 must be within the last 3 years.

• * A "day" is more than 4 hours away from the dock.

• Must complete a USCG-approved OUPV course or pass the USCG OUPV exam.

• Must complete a USCG-approved First Aid / CPR course within 1 year before applying.

• Must obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Card).

• Must complete a DOT physical and drug screen no more than 6 months before applying.

• Pay all applicable fees to the USCG ($145 for an original license).

This 80-hour class covers the four subjects required on the USCG exam to obtain an entry-level license: Collision Regulations, Chart Plotting and Coastal Navigation, Navigation General, and Deck General.

​

The fee includes books, classroom materials, an online study guide, and the four final tests.

The student is responsible for the UGCG Application ($145), TWIC Card ($125), Doctor ($120-$125), and Drug Test ($100-$120) to have the proper SEA TIME for each course.
